Privacy and Advertising Choices

Last updated July 25, 2026

BankOfMedicare.com is an independent public education and reimbursement-research site. It is not a clinical system, claims portal, healthcare provider, insurer, government service, or HIPAA intake system.

Do not submit patient information

Do not enter names, Medicare identifiers, dates of birth, addresses, medical records, diagnoses tied to a person, claim numbers, or other protected health information. Public tools are intended only for de-identified educational scenarios.

Optional cookies and consent

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity tags load site-wide in consent mode so installation can be verified and aggregate measurement can operate with storage denied by default. Until a visitor allows optional cookies, analytics and advertising storage remain denied and the services operate only in their limited cookieless modes. Allowing optional cookies updates the consent signals; declining keeps storage denied and does not restrict content or tools. The choice is stored in the browser and can be withdrawn at any time.

Contextual Google advertising

When optional cookies are allowed and advertising is available, the site requests non-personalized Google AdSense ads. These ads use contextual information such as the current page rather than a visitor profile. Google and participating vendors may still use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar identifiers for frequency limits, aggregated reporting, security, and invalid-traffic prevention.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies and use web beacons or IP addresses as a result of ad serving. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites. Visitors can review Google Ads Settings and industry opt-out options at AboutAds.

Analytics and session measurement

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may process page views, approximate location, device and browser information, interactions, and session-usage data according to the consent signal and their own terms. Google Analytics disables advertising personalization signals and is configured to anonymize IP information. Microsoft Clarity receives Consent API v2 storage signals. Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate site performance and usage. The site does not intentionally send patient records or claim content to these services.

Accounts and saved work

When account services are used, Supabase processes account information, authentication records, and saved de-identified learning or research data. Do not place patient information in saved work. Account data is used to provide sign-in, progress, and saved-record functions.

Corrections and feedback

The feedback form stores the submitted message and any optional name or email so an editor can review or clarify it. Feedback is not sold or used for lead generation. Do not include patient or claim identifiers.

Browser storage, retention, and control

The browser may store optional-cookie choices and de-identified learning state. Clearing site data removes local records. Server records are retained only as reasonably needed to provide accounts, security, corrections, and educational functions, subject to operational and legal requirements. You may use the corrections form to request review of information you submitted.

Children

The site is written for adult healthcare billing, supplier, compliance, and revenue-cycle audiences. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly request information from children.

Policy changes

Material changes are reflected by the updated date on this page. Continued use of public content does not require acceptance of optional cookies.
